Literature Text

Before Rune ever met Drop and Glare, he was rather more of a lonely one, flying with birds that soar pass his forest and gathering supplies from whatever he can reach. Even so, he could fly... until the fire cost him flight.

One day after harvesting fruit, fishing, and hiking, Rune has yet to make himself a shelter, so he sleeps inside a hollowed out tree that is lined with cotton. The most parts of the day were rather bright and sunny, until the evening. A massive rainstorm struck, scaring many of the animals to their safety locations, until lightning struck the tree Rune slept in. The fire that was on the top was travelling down rapidly, leaving Rune no time to react. He does catch on fire, and while he's in a panic, the fire strangely leaves his body and traveled on his right wing. He quickly dives into the river, which the water smothers the flames...

The next day, Rune heads over to a nearby clinic to check his wing. Most of his body health was perfectly fine, until the doctor checks the wing.

"Unfortunately, Rune... your right wing is badly burned and wounded. You may not be able to fly again..." While the doctor mentions the different alternatives to heal the wounded wing, Rune looked like he wasn't in any idea for treatment or replacement.
"Well, thank you for all the different ideas, but... I guess I should be going home now. I'll tell my mother about my wing."
Upon leaving, Rune takes some cotton from a nearby cotton field and makes bandages. He gently wraps his burned wing with the bandages, not worrying about any medications, remedies, or anything unnatural.

Weeks later, Rune knew that his wing was never going to recover, knowing he didn't do anything to treat it. Overall, he never did anything with to heal broken wings or serious alignments, for that he only uses natural remedies to treat all of his problems... but never for a broken wing.
When you see my OC Rune, everyone assumes he can fly. Well, he can fly... back then. Now he can't. Here's the story.
